Fresno County, CA (May 22, 2025) – Gabriel Vasquez, 20, of Raisin City, was killed Thursday morning when his vehicle collided head-on on Hayes Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred north of Huntsman Avenue when Vasquez’s GMC Terrain crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Toyota Camry. Two Camry occupants were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
CHP is investigating whether Vasquez experienced a medical emergency prior to the collision.
