Fresno, CA – Truck Driver Hospitalized, Two Others Hurt in Crash on Highway 99 Near Herndon Ave

Fresno, CA (June 20, 2025) – A truck driver was hospitalized, and two others were injured in a crash on northbound Highway 99 near Herndon Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred early Friday around 2:45 a.m. when a semi-truck struck an embankment and overturned, spilling 70,000 pounds of juice and blocking two lanes. The truck driver suffered an arm injury and was transported to the hospital.

A second semi-truck driver, attempting to avoid the wreck, was rear-ended by a Ford F-250. Both sustained minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
