Galt, CA (April 29, 2025) – One person was injured following a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday evening along Alta Mesa Road near Highway 104 in the Galt area of South Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 5:33 p.m., prompting a response from CHP and local emergency services.
First responders provided medical aid at the scene before transporting the injured individual to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of vehicles involved. The crash led to temporary traffic disruptions in the area while crews worked to clear the roadway and initiate an investigation into the cause of the incident.
