Gustine, CA - Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig on I-5

Gustine, CA (May 13, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig, a green SUV, and a Ford pickup truck occurred Tuesday morning on northbound Interstate 5 near Whitworth Road in Gustine.

According to initial reports, the SUV lost control and struck the Ford before crashing head-on into the semi. The crash blocked the center lanes of the freeway and prompted a swift emergency response. Tow services were requested, and crews worked to clear the wreckage.

By 7:53 a.m., all lanes had reopened. There were no confirmed reports of injuries at the time of publication.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
