Hayward, CA - 64-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Collision at Depot Rd

Hayward, CA (May 9, 2025) – A 64-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle while riding a motorized bicycle near Chabot College in Hayward, the Hayward Police Department reports.

The crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. at Depot Road and Adrian Avenue. Responders transported the bicyclist to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The 35-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

DUI is not suspected; the collision remains under investigation.
