[03-31-2025] - Hit and Run Crash in North Sacramento Injures Pedestrian at Del Paso Boulevard and Eleanor Avenue

Sacramento, CA — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of Del Paso Boulevard and Eleanor Avenue in North Sacramento, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred around 4:08 PM near the Old North Sacramento neighborhood and remains under investigation by the Sacramento Police Department.

The victim, who was either walking or standing near the intersection, was struck by a fleeing vehicle. Emergency medical personnel responded quickly, stabilizing the injured individual before transporting them to a local hospital. The victim’s current condition has not been disclosed.

“The vehicle involved fled the scene immediately after the crash,” an official stated.

Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle speed away moments after the collision. Officers secured the area and began gathering surveillance footage and conducting interviews with local residents and bystanders.

As of Tuesday morning:

  • No suspect has been identified

  • No arrests have been made

  • The vehicle remains at large

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
