Lemon Grove, CA – Marco Quintero, 35, of San Diego, Killed in Bicycle Collision on Troy Street

Lemon Grove, CA (October 05, 2025) – Marco Quintero of San Diego, age 35, tragically died after being struck by a black Chevrolet Silverado while riding his bicycle shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday night on the 8500 block of Troy Street, near Camino De Las Palmas.

Quintero was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities reported that impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the collision.

The incident remains under active investigation by local authorities.
