Lodi, CA - Semi-Truck Crashes Off Highway 99 Near Armstrong Rd

San Joaquin County, CA (April 23, 2025) – A semi-truck accident occurred Wednesday morning on the southbound side of Highway 99 near Armstrong Road, just outside Lodi, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at approximately 10:00 a.m. Authorities said the cab of the truck went off the freeway while the trailer remained partially hanging over a roadside barrier. No injuries were reported.

CHP stated that the No. 3 lane was closed for several hours to allow for cleanup and recovery operations. Hazardous materials teams were called in due to concerns related to the truck’s cargo.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
