Los Angeles, CA (October 30, 2025) – A tragic hit-and-run crash in Lake View Terrace left one pedestrian dead and another seriously injured Thursday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The collision occurred around 8:34 p.m. on Foothill Boulevard near Kagel Canyon, when a vehicle struck two pedestrians and then fled the scene. Responding officers found one victim fatally injured in the roadway and another suffering from serious trauma. Paramedics transported the surviving pedestrian to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
AIR7 HD footage showed a tent covering the victim’s body in the street, along with vehicle debris and a detached bumper scattered nearby. Authorities have not released a description of the suspect vehicle and are currently reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to identify the driver.
