Santa Maria, CA (September 30, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on State Route 166 at mile marker 32 resulted in major injuries on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash involved a white Chevrolet Colorado and another vehicle that reportedly rolled onto its side. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found one person trapped in a vehicle. Multiple parties were also reported walking in the roadway, and paramedics were on site to provide care.
Tow services, including RandG Towing and City Motors, were dispatched to remove the vehicles. CHP temporarily closed the lanes for emergency response and air ambulance transport but later reopened all lanes.
CHP continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
