Marysville, CA - Three Killed, Three Injured in Head-On Crash on Hwy 70

Marysville, CA (June 14, 2025) – Three people were killed and three others seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision on Highway 70 near 24th Street, according to the Marysville Police Department.

The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. and involved two vehicles, one carrying five occupants and another with a solo driver. Emergency crews responded to extensive wreckage, and three people were pronounced dead at the scene. The three surviving victims, including a minor, were hospitalized with major injuries, and one was airlifted due to the severity.

Investigators believe speed may have been a contributing factor.
