Merced, CA - Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run at Cody & Stanford Ave

Merced, CA (May 22, 2025) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian near Cody Avenue and Stanford Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The CHP says the collision occurred at approximately 10:27 p.m., though dispatch logs indicate it actually happened about two hours earlier. Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital.

Investigators have classified the case as a “20001 – Hit and Run with Injuries” and are asking anyone with information about the small silver vehicle or its driver to contact the Merced area CHP office.
