Millville, CA – Fatal Crash Involving Sedan and Motorcycles on Whitmore Rd

Millville, CA (May 5, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred Monday afternoon on Whitmore Road at Cow Creek Ranch Road, southeast of Redding, involving a sedan and multiple motorcycles, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported at approximately 2:39 p.m. and resulted in at least one fatality. Cal Fire and emergency personnel responded to the scene, which showed significant damage and required extensive cleanup. A coroner was called due to the severity of the incident.

Tow trucks removed the involved sedan and one of the motorcycles. CHP has arranged for an evidence tow as part of their ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
