San Diego, CA (September 22, 2025) – A four-vehicle traffic collision occurred on the I-15 North at the I-8 South junction yesterday evening. The crash resulted in minor injuries to one individual, who was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital by Medic 39.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision, reported at approximately 9:22 PM, involved a red Honda Civic, a grey Kia SUV, and two other vehicles. The incident caused significant traffic disruptions, as the crash occurred in the construction zone, temporarily stopping all lanes on I-15 North.
Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene, with Metro Construction crews assisting in clearing the vehicles and debris. By 11:16 PM, the lanes were reopened, allowing traffic to resume. Fortunately, all other individuals involved in the collision were not reported to have sustained serious injuries.
