Modesto, CA (May 27, 2025) – One person was injured Tuesday evening when four vehicles collided on Highway 99 near Tuolumne Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred around 6:49 p.m., snarling traffic through central Modesto as officers and emergency crews worked to assist the injured party and clear the roadway.
CHP investigators are examining whether speed, driver distraction, or other factors contributed to the collision.
