Benicia, CA (August 26, 2025) – A motorcyclist tragically lost his life after colliding with a big rig on the Benicia Bridge early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 7:58 a.m. near the mid-span of the Benicia Bridge on southbound Interstate 680. CHP reported that the motorcyclist was riding in the No. 1 lane at slow speeds when he lost control and fell off the bike.
