San Diego, CA (October 17, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash injured several people late Friday night on northbound Interstate 805 near Plaza Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash happened around 11:20 p.m. when a dark SUV hit the right-hand shoulder wall. Several nearby drivers stopped to help before emergency crews arrived. CHP officers initially classified the incident as a major crash but later confirmed minor injuries.
First responders found a man unresponsive inside one of the vehicles. Paramedics extracted him and provided treatment before taking him to a nearby hospital. Multiple lanes closed while Quality Tow and Bulldog Towing cleared the wreckage and officers investigated the scene.
