North Highlands, CA – Hit-and-Run Leaves Pedestrian with Major Injuries

North Highlands, CA (April 7, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit and run collision Monday afternoon on Watt Avenue near Orange Avenue, according to the Sacramento Metro Fire District.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency crews. Upon arrival, first responders found the pedestrian with major injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for urgent care. The victim’s identity and condition have not yet been made public.

The driver fled the scene, triggering an active investigation by the California Highway Patrol. As of this report, there are no confirmed details about the suspect or the vehicle involved.

Authorities are urging anyone with witness information or surveillance footage from the area to come forward to aid in the investigation.
