North Sacramento, CA - Pedestrian Hurt in North Sacramento Crash on Garfield Ave

North Sacramento, CA (April 6, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck by a gray SUV late Sunday night on Garfield Avenue, prompting a rapid emergency response from CHP and the Sacramento Fire Department.

The collision occurred at approximately 10:31 p.m. in the 3900–3998 block of Garfield Ave. Reports confirm that two vehicles—a black pickup and a red pickup—were also involved, and airbags deployed on impact. Multiple individuals were found outside their vehicles when first responders arrived.

The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was transported by Metro Sacramento Fire to Mercy San Juan Medical Center for further treatment. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries were reported.

Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the vehicles, and the roadway was briefly closed while crews worked to secure the area. The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident and reviewing witness statements.
