North Sacramento, CA - Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run at College Oak Dr & Auburn Blvd

Sacramento, CA (May 8, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured Thursday evening in a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of College Oak Drive and Auburn Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol North Sacramento unit.

The incident occurred around 7:06 p.m. and was classified as a felony hit-and-run with injuries (CHP Code 20001). Initial reports indicate that an unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. Sacramento Fire crews responded but experienced brief delays due to confusion regarding the exact location.

The pedestrian was provided with medical treatment at the scene and later transported for further care. The individual’s current condition has not been released. Authorities have not yet identified the driver or the vehicle involved.

The CHP urges anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
