North Sacramento, CA - Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run on Walerga Rd

North Sacramento, CA (June 5, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a fleeing driver at about 7:35 a.m. Thursday on Walerga Road at Arena Boulevard.

The victim was treated on scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility; the extent of the injuries remains unconfirmed. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian fled, and Sacramento Police are searching for the driver.

No major traffic disruptions have been reported. An investigation into the hit-and-run is ongoing.
