Oakhurst, CA – Juvenile Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 49

Oakhurst, CA (June 9, 2025) – A juvenile bicyclist was injured Monday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash at Highway 49 and Junction Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred around 2:56 p.m. when a vehicle struck the child and fled the scene. Emergency crews responded and treated the victim, who was reported to be in stable condition.

CHP is investigating and has identified a possible secondary location on Old Yosemite Road connected to the case. No additional details about the suspect or vehicle have been released.
