Oakland, CA - Bicyclist Injured in Golf Course Drive Crash

Oakland, CA (May 27, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured Monday evening at Golf Course Drive and Grizzly Peak Boulevard, the Oakland Police Department reports.

The collision occurred around 6:55 p.m. as the rider traveled downhill on Golf Course Drive. Emergency medical personnel treated the cyclist on scene before transporting them to a local hospital; the extent of their injuries has not been released.

Witnesses and officers suggest limited visibility on the winding hillside road may have contributed. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
