Oakland, CA (April 10, 2025) โ The California Highway Patrol has launched an investigation after a person was found injured early Thursday morning near the intersection of 6th St and Castro St in Oakland, close to the I-880 and I-980 corridor. The incident was reported around 5:21 a.m.
The injured individual claimed they were struck by a vehicle on the freeway. Emergency crews responded quickly and transported the person to a local hospital under code 1141, indicating injuries requiring ambulance care. The extent of their injuries has not yet been released.
