Oakland, CA (April 18, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision resulted in reported injuries on Friday evening, April 18, along Interstate 580 East near Fruitvale Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 6:26 p.m. and involved a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a gray Honda.
Emergency personnel responded swiftly to the scene to assess those involved and coordinate medical assistance. While the extent of injuries has not been disclosed, at least one person was treated on-site.
Authorities requested a tow truck for the involved vehicles, and CHP is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
