Oakland, CA - One Injured in Crash on I-880 near 98th Ave

Oakland, CA (June 17, 2025) – One person was injured when three vehicles collided on northbound Interstate 880 near 98th Avenue, CHP reports.

At around 2:58 a.m., CHP officers and EMTs responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found three damaged vehicles and at least one occupant suffering injuries; that individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

CHP’s Oakland office continues to investigate factors such as vehicle positions, speed, and roadway conditions.
