Oakland, CA (May 8, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash occurred early Thursday morning near the toll booth plaza entrance to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, leaving at least one person injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place at approximately 5:54 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 and involved a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup, a gray Nissan Altima sedan, and a utility truck. Authorities confirmed that an ambulance was dispatched to the scene for at least one individual reporting pain-related injuries.
A tow truck was required to remove the damaged Nissan from the roadway. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation as CHP continues to assess fault and contributing factors.
