Oakland, CA (June 17, 2025) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of 17th Street and Brush Street in downtown Oakland, according to local authorities.
The collision occurred around 9:10 a.m. when two vehicles collided while crossing the intersection. One of the vehicles came to rest against a curb following the impact. Emergency crews responded and transported one injured individual to a nearby hospital. Their condition has not been disclosed.
The Oakland Police Department is investigating the crash to determine whether factors such as right-of-way violations or distracted driving contributed to the incident.
