Oakland, CA (May 27, 2025) – One person was seriously injured when two vehicles collided on Coolidge Avenue near the eastbound I-580 ramps, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred around 1:31 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27. CHP officers and Oakland Fire Department crews treated the injured individual at the scene before transporting the patient to a local hospital.
Investigators are examining whether right-of-way errors, distraction, or speed contributed to the collision.
