Oakland, CA - Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on MacArthur Blvd

Oakland, CA (April 11, 2025) – A woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday on MacArthur Boulevard at 106th Avenue in East Oakland, according to local reports.

The victim, identified only as Sara, was struck by a speeding driver who allegedly used a left-turn lane to bypass traffic before running a red light and crashing into her vehicle. The impact totaled her car and left her with injuries to her leg and back.

Emergency services responded to the scene, and the victim was treated for her injuries. The suspect fled the scene, and no arrest has been made at this time.

The incident remains under investigation. Witnesses captured video of the crash, which may aid in identifying the suspect.
