Los Angeles, CA (September 12, 2025) – A fatal two-car crash on Sepulveda Boulevard claimed one life and injured another Friday afternoon, authorities reported.
The collision occurred around 2 p.m. in the Sepulveda Pass, just south of the Skirball Cultural Center, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second individual was prepared for transport to a local hospital for treatment.
The accident forced the closure of two lanes on Sepulveda Boulevard, with traffic diverted around the scene. As of 3:10 p.m., officials were managing detours while emergency crews cleared the roadway.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
