Oxnard, CA (October 03, 2025) – A 29-year-old Oxnard man was killed, and at least one other person suffered major injuries in a three-vehicle collision Friday night on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) south of Point Magu, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 10:08 p.m. when the Hyundai Elantra driven by the 29-year-old crossed over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons. The vehicle collided head-on with an Acura TSX, whose 23-year-old male driver sustained major injuries and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center.
Shortly after, a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 38-year-old woman traveling northbound struck the Acura. The woman was not injured in the collision.
CHP confirmed that the 29-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made, and authorities reported that alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
