Anderson, CA (September 22, 2025) – A minor car accident occurred on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Deschutes Road and Green Acres Drive in Anderson. The crash involved a small white Subaru, which went off the roadway, struck a tree, and ended up approximately 30 feet off the road.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver was initially trapped in the vehicle, which was smoking at the scene. Emergency responders from Cal Fire arrived quickly and assisted in extricating the driver. A fire extinguisher was also used due to smoke from the vehicle.
The injured driver was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. All Car Towing was called to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash, which has been classified as a minor injury traffic collision.
