Los Angeles, CA (September 14, 2025) – A four-vehicle accident on the southbound I-5 freeway at the Slauson Avenue off-ramp resulted in one injury earlier today. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved a black Honda Civic and a silver BMW, with significant debris blocking several lanes.
The incident was first reported at 4:31 a.m., with emergency responders arriving quickly at the scene. One individual sustained major injuries, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACOFD) assisted in medical treatment.
Tow trucks from Helms and Hill Towing were dispatched, and after several hours of clearing debris, all lanes were reopened around 8:43 a.m., with traffic flowing more smoothly.
