Orangevale, CA (May 16, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle late Friday night in Orangevale. The incident occurred around 11:18 p.m. at the intersection of Greenback Ln and Walnut Ave, near Lou’s Liquor and Jan’s Lounge.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, providing immediate care to the injured pedestrian before transporting them to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The crash is suspected to have involved a truck, though authorities have not confirmed vehicle details.
Westbound lanes of Greenback Ln were blocked for an extended period as law enforcement and fire crews managed the scene and conducted a detailed investigation. Evidence was collected, and the vehicle involved was towed for further examination.
