Stockton, CA (Sep 1, 2026) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Stockton, officials said.
Stockton Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene at Carolyn Weston Boulevard and Manthey Road in the Seaport District around 2:58 a.m. following a report of a crash.
Upon arrival, officers found a man unconscious in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, Stockton police said. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
