Roseville, CA (September 11, 2025) – A pedestrian died early Thursday after being struck by a vehicle in Roseville, authorities reported.
The fatal collision occurred around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Douglas Boulevard and King Road, according to the Roseville Police Department. The adult victim, whose identity has not yet been released by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office coroner division, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and contacted 911. Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. A major accident investigation team responded, temporarily closing the intersection; the roadway reopened around noon.
