[04-03-2025] – Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Crash at Dolan Road and Avila Road in Monterey

Monterey, CA – A heartbreaking pedestrian accident took place early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Dolan Rd and Avila Rd, leading to a tragic loss of life. Emergency responders from Monterey Fire and Rescue swiftly arrived at the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a single vehicle.

The incident was first noted around 2:44 AM. Records from the California Highway Patrol reveal that a female driver contacted authorities, claiming she had hit a male pedestrian. At the time of the collision, the individual was reportedly standing in the middle of the lane.
