Pittsburg, CA (April 29, 2025) – A major multi-car crash occurred on State Route 4 East at the Railroad Avenue off-ramp in Pittsburg, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 11:00 p.m. and involved approximately 30 vehicles. Among those identified were a gray 2022 Nissan Sentra, a white Honda Civic, a silver BMW 325 SD, and a red Toyota. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assist with traffic control and vehicle removal. Several vehicles required towing due to damage.
Debris from the crash affected multiple lanes, and at least one lane was closed during the response. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by CHP.
