Redding, CA (April 30, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 5 near State Route 44, leaving one vehicle sideways in the slow lane and another damaged after striking a guard rail. The collision was reported around 8:17 a.m. and involved a brown Toyota Camry (โBRO TOYT CAMโ) and a second unidentified vehicle.
One vehicle lost control and collided with the guard rail, while the other came to rest sideways in the lane, creating a significant traffic hazard.
Emergency crews arrived promptly to manage the scene and assist those involved. Tow services were requested, and northbound lanes experienced partial closures as responders worked to clear debris and restore traffic flow.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash. No injury reports have been confirmed at this time.
