Redwood City, CA (July 09, 2025) – A two-car crash caused delays and left at least one person injured Wednesday morning on northbound U.S. Highway 101 near the University Avenue offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 8:00 a.m., CHP responded to the collision just south of the University exit. The crash involved two vehicles, including a blue sedan with major front-end damage. Lanes 3 and 4 were blocked during the response.
San Mateo County Fire crews arrived to assist, and at least one person was evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries. CHP later classified the crash as a minor injury incident.
Tow services were requested, and LandJ Towing responded to remove the disabled vehicle. Traffic was heavily impacted but all lanes were cleared by 8:44 a.m. with assistance from the Freeway Service Patrol.
