Sacramento, CA (May 8, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured Thursday evening after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Crocker Drive and Sutterville Road, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the cyclist was passing through the intersection when they were hit by a passenger vehicle. Emergency responders provided medical aid at the scene, and the injured rider was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Investigators temporarily closed a portion of the roadway to examine the scene and assess contributing factors.
The area, located near William Land Park, presents complex traffic conditions for both cyclists and motorists. The investigation is ongoing, and no citations have been reported at this time.
