Sacramento, CA (May 2, 2025) – A bicyclist sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening near the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. in a high-traffic corridor frequently used by both motorists and pedestrians. Responding officers found the bicyclist with significant injuries. The individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their current condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Authorities have not confirmed the circumstances leading up to the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing. Officials are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information to contact the Sacramento Police Department.
