Sacramento, CA - BMW and Mazda Involved in I-80 Crash with Vehicle Fire

Sacramento, CA (May 11, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a gray BMW, a Mazda, and a third vehicle occurred early Sunday on Interstate 80 West near the State Route 51 South connector, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 2:45 a.m. after one of the vehicles reportedly caught fire. At least one vehicle sustained severe damage and required towing.

The incident remains under investigation. No injuries were confirmed at the time of the report.
