Sacramento, CA (June 28, 2025) – A hit-and-run pedestrian crash resulting in injuries was reported Saturday in the South Sacramento area, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred on Eastbreeze Circle, where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Emergency responders, including paramedics, arrived at the scene and provided treatment for the injured pedestrian. The individual sustained a variety of injuries, though the exact extent of those injuries and the victim’s identity have not been released. Medics worked to stabilize the person and arranged for transport to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The vehicle involved did not remain at the scene, prompting an active hit-and-run investigation by the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento division. Authorities are currently reviewing surveillance footage and gathering witness statements to help identify the driver responsible.
Eastbreeze Circle was partially blocked during the emergency response, and residents were asked to avoid the area temporarily. No description of the vehicle involved has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
We extend our thoughts to the injured pedestrian and their loved ones and hope for a full and swift recovery.
Personal Injury Claims in California
A serious injury can flip your life upside down in seconds, whether it’s a crash on I-5 near Sacramento, a fall in a Stockton store, or a workplace accident in Roseville. When someone else’s carelessness causes that harm, California law gives you the right to seek compensation and the support you need to rebuild.
You may be entitled to recover damages for hospital bills, missed work, emotional distress, and future care needs. California’s “pure comparative negligence rule” means you can recover compensation even if you were partially at fault.
But building a strong injury claim takes more than pointing fingers. You need clear evidence, fast documentation, and a legal strategy developed by an experienced CA personal injury lawyer to withstand scrutiny from insurance adjusters and defense attorneys. Most cases have a two-year deadline, and the longer you wait, the harder it becomes to prove fault and damages.
