Sacramento, CA - Hyundai and Kia Involved in Crash on SR-99 Near I-5

Sacramento, CA (April 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound lanes of State Route 99 near the Interstate 5 interchange in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers at the scene identified the vehicles involved as a white Hyundai Sonata and a gray Kia. The CHP responded to manage the crash site and assist with traffic control.

One vehicle was disabled and required a tow, and debris was reported across the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
