Sacramento, CA (May 28, 2025) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2nd Avenue and the southbound Sacramento Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The collision occurred around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday. Sacramento Fire Department paramedics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for evaluation.
CHP investigators continue to examine whether speed, merging conflicts, or distraction contributed to the collision.
