Sacramento, CA (May 11, 2025) – A rear-end crash with injuries occurred Sunday morning on the southbound Capital City Freeway (SR-51) near the Exposition Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident, reported shortly after 7:00 a.m., involved a black Honda Pilot and a blue Audi sedan. The Audi sustained front-end damage and was towed from the scene, while the Honda showed moderate to major rear damage.
Emergency crews responded, though the full extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed. CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
