Sacramento, CA (June 1, 2025) – A man was killed early Sunday when struck by a fleeing vehicle on the 500 block of J Street, the Sacramento Police Department reports.
Officers arriving at the scene around 2:30 a.m. discovered the victim unresponsive in the roadway. Fire responders pronounced him dead at the location. Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit and Crime Scene Investigators have taken over the inquiry.
