Sacramento, CA - One Injured in Two-Car Crash at 23rd & Q St

Sacramento, CA (June 17, 2025) – One person was injured when two vehicles collided at 23rd Street and Q Street, Sacramento Police Department reports.

At about 12:07 p.m. Tuesday, officers and Sacramento Fire Department crews responded to the signalized intersection in downtown Sacramento. Emergency medical services treated the injured individual on scene before transporting the patient to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Sacramento PD investigators are examining whether a failure to yield or an improper turn led to the side-impact collision. Witnesses assisted officers in reconstructing the crash, and the intersection was closed for over an hour while crews cleared debris and towed the damaged vehicles.
